The Literacy Council of Sarasota supports 250 adult language learners every week through one-on-one volunteer tutoring and small group instruction.
Many students rely solely on their mobile phones to attend online classes, limiting their ability to fully engage in their education.
Because of eSmart Recycling’s innovative approach, corporate E-Partners, such as Ringling College of Art and Design can showcase their sustainability and community engagement commitment by enabling access to technology to local programs, and initiatives. This means active learners receive a free refurbished laptop to enhance their learning experience.
This initiative is helping bridge the Digital Divide, ensuring access to the technology needed for success in today’s world.
