ECHO

ECHO’s mission is to assist residents of Hillsborough County in crisis with emergency food and clothing, offering life stabilizing programs and resources.

ECHO provides:

Emergency Relief through their ECHO Food Pantry along with the ECHO Clothing closet which was created to assist our neighbors who have suffered a recent emergency and need help with food and clothing.

  • Life Rebuilding Programs, by leveraging resources to help neighbors rebuild their lives. They provide an opportunity for them to earn their GED. A workshop where they can discover how to navigate the resources available to them. A place they can feel comfortable learning how to search for jobs, create their resume, and practice mock interviews.
  • Community Outreach Events
  • Social Enterprises through their ECHO Handmade and ECHO Boutique and Community Thrift Sale.

We are honored to support ECHO by making technology accessible in their center for the benefit of the people they serve, and through their GED program as a reward mechanism to incentive people to successfully complete their studies and pursue their dreams.

West Florida Foster Care Services is a Christ-centered non-profit foster care licensing agency dedicated to glorifying God by restoring the local body of Christ as the leader in serving those children in our community who have been abused, neglected, and abandoned.

As families grow, one of the challenges the organization has seen is the lack of technology in households to accommodate new members. We have partnered with West Florida Foster Care Services to help their families with fully refurbished computers in case they need them.

The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit’s Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) is a specialized court established to serve veterans currently in or about to enter the criminal justice system, who either serve in the military or have been discharged from the military under honorable conditions and who suffer from a military service-related mental illness, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse disorder, or psychological problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder or military sexual trauma.  VTC provides a therapeutic environment coupled with an emphasis on accountability for the veteran.  Veterans are subjected to a coordinated strategy developed by a veteran treatment intervention team.  As part of the coordinated strategy an appropriate treatment plan, specific to the needs of the veteran, is determined through assessment and evaluation by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) providers or other court-approved providers.  The coordinated strategy encompasses five phases.  The veteran’s advancement from one phase to the next is not automatic and will be determined by the Court after review of the veteran’s progress in each phase of the program.  The coordinated strategy includes a protocol of incentives to encourage the veteran’s compliance with the program, as well as sanctions to discourage the veteran’s noncompliance.

Pursuant to Section 948.16(2), Florida Statutes, and Administrative Order S-2016-032, veterans may be eligible for entry into one of the VTC Pretrial Diversion Programs, e.g., VTC Misdemeanor Intervention Program (VMIP) or VTC Felony Pretrial Intervention Program (VPTI), which allows the veteran to have his/her case dismissed by the Court upon successful completion of the program.  Further, veterans with a prior conviction may be eligible for the VTC Post-Adjudication Program, where he/she may be offered a reduced sentence upon successful completion of the program.  VTC also incorporates a veteran-based mentor program to provide additional support to participating veterans.

We work alongside this wonderful organization by providing tablets and computers to veterans who go through challenges and are looking to integrate back into civilian life.

The Tampa YMCA was founded based on the core character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

The YMCA continues to flourish because those values are as relevant to today’s world as they were in 1844, when a young drapery clerk named George Williams sought to develop a wholesome place for young people to escape the immorality of the London Streets during the Industrial Revolution.

Today, the YMCA, the largest and oldest service organization in America, serves 17 million members in 120 countries. In Tampa Bay alone, we reach more than 160,000 individuals each year through membership, programs, and outreach activities in our community. Through Our Vision 2020, we have laid the foundation to take the Tampa YMCA into the future so we can continue to serve the Tampa Bay community for years to come.

We are able to work alongside the leadership of the YMCA to support students and children……..
